The Hudson Housing Team is Growing
Mr. Shorts joined Hudson Housing Capital in April 2024 as Vice President in the Acquisitions group. He is responsible for the financial analysis and underwriting related to potential new low-income housing tax credit projects nationwide.
Prior to joining Hudson Housing Capital, Mr. Shorts was a Vice President, Senior Underwriter, with Regions Affordable Housing where he was responsible for the negotiation, financial analysis, underwriting and closing of LIHTC affordable housing projects nationwide, utilizing the bank’s various debt and LIHTC equity products. Prior to Regions Affordable Housing, Mr. Shorts was an underwriter within the Community Finance group at Capital One Bank.
Mr. Shorts received a BS in Journalism from West Virginia University and an MS in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from The New School’s Milano School of Policy, Management and Environment.
