Mr. Claflin joined Hudson Housing Capital in February 2026 and is responsible for overseeing a portfolio that includes pre-stabilized, operational and stabilized properties.

Prior to joining Hudson Housing Capital, Mr. Claflin served as a Vice President of Asset Management at Merchants Capital. In that role, Mr. Claflin was responsible for overseeing a team of asset managers, in addition to a portfolio of LIHTC properties from closing through the compliance period. Mr. Claflin also assisted in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures. Prior to Merchants, Mr. Claflin held positions in Acquisitions and Asset Management at two national syndicators.

Mr. Claflin received his BS in Finance from Bentley University in 2017 and is HCCP certified.
