Brian Ruggieri

Associate, Acquisitions

Mr. Ruggieri joined Hudson Housing Capital in August 2023 as an Associate in the Acquisitions Group.

He is responsible for supporting financial analysis and underwriting of potential low-income housing tax credit projects nationwide.

Prior to Hudson Housing Capital, Mr. Ruggieri worked at Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation for 1 year, most recently as an Investment Analyst. At MHIC, a Massachusetts based tax credit syndicator and CDFI lending institution, he supported the originating, underwriting, and closing of construction and permanent financing products for both multifamily affordable housing and community development projects. Prior to MHIC, Mr. Ruggieri worked at Boston Financial Investment Management, a national tax credit syndicator for 5 years, starting as a Financial Data Analyst, transitioning to an Asset Management Analyst position and eventually moving up to an Asset Manager role for the West Coast portfolio.

Mr. Ruggieri received a BS in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Boston. He also received an MS in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Boston under their Investment Management and Quantitative Finance program, earning the Master of Science in Finance Prize for Academic Distinction.
