Mr. Grimes joined Hudson Housing Capital in July of 2019, where he will work with the General Counsel Office providing legal support for fund administration. His primarily responsibilities will be to assist the Vice President and General Counsel with upper and lower-tier document production, compliance related issues, due diligence matters, entity formation and management, preparation and closing of fund transactions and post-closing items for the syndication of properties to investors.
Prior to joining Hudson, Mr. Grimes was employed by Amazon for two years where he was primarily responsible for drafting and negotiating NDAs, confidential agreements, service agreements and general corporate matters relating to e-commerce operational issues. Prior to joining Amazon, Mr. Grimes was a senior paralegal for Global Infrastructure Partners for five years; Citigroup for seven years; NBC Cable Networks for one year. Previously to his employment at NBC Cable, Mr. Grimes was a senior paralegal at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, Morrison & Forester for four years and Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson for two years.
Mr. Grimes holds a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Columbia University, and a Certificate of Paralegal Studies from Long Island University at C.W. Post, Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Grimes also spent his junior year abroad at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
