Senior Compliance Associate, Asset Management

Mr. Thomas joined Hudson Housing Capital’s Asset Management Team as a Senior Compliance Specialist in June 2019.

Prior to Hudson, Akeem worked as a Tax Credit Compliance specialist for Wavecrest Management, overseeing a significant portion of their tax credit portfolio which included over 20,000 units.  Following his tenure at Wavecrest, he went on to join Breaking Ground Management as a Leasing Manager for their third party leasing department.

Throughout his career, Mr. Thomas has demonstrated a thorough understanding of Section 42 compliance and as such has been recognized by many accredited institutions, including The National Center for Housing Management (NCHM), The National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), Spectrum, Quadel, and Novogradac. Akeem is also Registered in Apartment Management by The National Association of Building Owners (NABO).
