Mr. Thomas joined Hudson in June 2019 and is responsible for oversight of Hudson’s internal continuing program compliance and coordination of external compliance functions.

Additionally, Mr. Thomas is responsible for oversight of a smaller portfolio which includes both pre-stabilized, operational and stabilized properties. Portfolio management of each of the properties in the portfolio begins upon closing, includes construction and lease-up phases, through each property’s operational life-cycle and ultimately through disposition – including processing of capital fundings, monitoring of property financial performance and continuing program compliance, and site visitation.

Prior to joining Hudson, Mr. Thomas worked as a Tax Credit Compliance Specialist for Wavecrest Management in New York City overseeing a significant portion of their large tax credit portfolio. Mr. Thomas also worked for the New York City-based Breaking Ground organization as a Leasing Manager in their third-party leasing department.

Throughout his career, Mr. Thomas has demonstrated a thorough understanding of Section 42 compliance and as such has been recognized by many accredited institutions, including The National Center for Housing Management (NCHM), The National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), Spectrum, Quadel, and Novogradac. Mr. Thomas also received a certification in Apartment Management by The National Association of Building Owners (NABO).
