Mr. Czekai joined Hudson Housing Capital in 2013, and is responsible for oversight of a portfolio which includes both pre-stabilized, operational and stabilized properties. Portfolio management of each of the properties in the portfolio begins upon closing, includes construction and lease-up phases, through each property’s operational life-cycle and ultimately through disposition – including processing of capital fundings, monitoring of property financial performance and continuing program compliance, and site visitation. In addition to portfolio management responsibilities, Mr. Czekai also oversees Hudson’s in-house LIHTC compliance group as well as other departmental administrative functions.

Prior to Hudson, Mr. Czekai worked in the asset management groups of Centerline Capital Group, the National Equity Fund, and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation.

Mr. Czekai holds an MA in Public Policy & Administration from Western Michigan University. Mr. Czekai holds a BA in Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy and Public Policy & Administration from Michigan State University, where he served there as the Student Government Chairperson/President.

Mr. Czekai is Tax Credit Compliance Certified through Quadel’s certification program.
