Vice President, Engineering
Mr. Anbar joined Hudson Housing Capital in 2003 and serves as both Senior Engineer and construction period Asset Manager.
Mr. Anbar is responsible for assessing and managing development risk in both the acquisition and construction phases. Acquisition due diligence responsibilities include conducting pre-development meetings, review of all pre-development documentation generated by consultants and designers, and engaging third party specialty consultants to aid in the assessment of project feasibility.
During the construction phase, Mr. Anbar monitors the work progress in conjunction with third party consultants, participates in periodic project meetings, frequently visits assets under construction, and ensures compliance with original projections.
Prior to Hudson, Mr. Anbar was Vice President and Department Manager for Project Management Oversight at Inspection & Valuation International, Inc. There, Mr. Anbar provided construction consulting services to real estate lenders and investors, including extensive representation of tax credit syndication firms and lenders in the affordable housing arena. Mr. Anbar managed a national group of 25 employees, who provided oversight for more than 175 active construction projects.
Mr. Anbar holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Columbia University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
